It was a Texas-heavy year for Daily Coffee News’ coverage of new cafe openings in the Southwestern United States. Under the light of the lone star, a diverse group of new coffee faces was illuminated.<\/p>\n

Some shops offered close connections to coffee producers in Ethiopia, Nicaragua and Yemen; a Germany-born chain took its first steps into the U.S.; and, in Houston, a man from Korea created a coffee-focused portal to Italy, to name just a few.<\/p>\n
